At first glance, Lady Josie looks like she should be running security.
In reality, she would prefer someone else to investigate the suspicious noise, unfamiliar dog or
particularly concerning stretch of tile flooring.
A formidable red Doberman with the heart of a very nervous socialite, Josie approaches life with
considerable caution, an impressive appetite and a firm belief that her personal comfort should
be everyone’s top priority.
Her social circle is highly exclusive. Branch holds permanent membership, the girls enjoy
unrestricted access, and applications from other dogs are generally declined.
Around the Club
Josie oversees dining operations with extraordinary dedication. Her preferred meal schedule
begins at 2 a.m., resumes at 5 a.m., continues at 5 p.m. and occasionally requires a late-night
service.
Branch’s dinner is also subject to inspection.
Branch has raised no formal objections.
Transportation arrangements remain complicated. Vehicles requiring a jump are unacceptable,
and even ground-level boarding is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
The tile flooring remains under investigation.
Despite her impressive stature, Josie is living proof that appearances can be deceiving. Behind
the intimidating exterior is a sensitive, wonderfully complicated girl who thrives on familiarity,
reassurance, her chosen people and the occasional unauthorized second dinner.
Her place on the Board is a reminder that some of the most extraordinary dogs require a little
extra understanding.
And possibly a dedicated catering department.
